Picnic Area & Mountain Top 4WD Camping

The Picnic Area Site & Mountain Top Sites are accessible by 4WD vehicles with high clearance. In the event you wish to camp at one of these sites and do not have the appropriate vehicle the host can transport you to this spot in their vehicle at a small cost to you.
Campers must be self-sufficient as there are no facilities at the picnic sites & Mountain Tops. We do however have flushing toilets available for hire a short drive to the barn.
The area is situated on a creek flat beside a seasonal creek with sandstone cliffs framing the backdrop to this very peaceful spot. The Mountain Top sites have views to the west or a private spot above the picnic cliffs.A bush fire pit is available for use when the weather is favourable.
Other site are in clearings and very private and suit groups.

We are located on the New England highway - Traveling North from Crows Nest QLD to Cooyar travel approx. 18 Klm from Crows Nest - on the right you will see the Emu Creek Cemetery we are the next driveway on the right.- Traveling South from Cooyar travel approx. 30 Klm after crossing Emu Creek bridge you will find Moran Road on the right we are the next property on the left approx. 1 Klm
